Both Cecile Culp Mielenz and Linda
Culp Dowling are respected authorities with
over twenty years of practice in their respective fields of management
training and child development/parent education. They are also cousins
who renewed their childhood relationship at a family reunion in
1996. As they compared professional experiences, they began to discover
similarities between coaching managers and counseling parents. From
that initial conversation grew the mentoring model, a unique blend
of management and parenting strategies that are effective at work
and at home.
